Development Schedule for Jan’24
Jan 7th – Concept Release G1:
Concept Release 1 is a simple isometric game model, in which the character can be fully controlled by either mouse clicking or keypad control, towards NPCs, triggering dialogue events. There is at this stage no meaningful dialogue, nor the artwork will be the final game artwork. Proxy’s for the final models can be used at this stage, mostly being focused on working the main game mechanic, which is an isometric map with triggered dialogue interactions.
This game model will be downloadable by those who can run Windows .exe files.
Jan 14th – Concept Release G2:
Concept Release 2 adds to release 1 a very simple opening sequence, as well as metering for main statistics and inworld game clock to trigger timed events. This will be available for download, but will be the last concept release of January, as I focus on the story and game world development.
This game model will be downloadable by those who can run Windows .exe files.
January 21st – World Map Concept Release M1
The Isometric World Maps will be released in the form of isometric renders of each playable area, currently consisting of: Garden ( the outside portion of the Manor ), Basement, Main Floor, Second Floor (private rooms) and Attic. The areas will be available for viewing for Paying Patreon members only, who will also be able to make suggestions and maybe request a few specific fantasy areas.
January 28 – No scheduled release
Considering I am at this point still on my fulltime job, and on the last week before leaving permanently to focus fulltime on my studies and the game and my rubber projects, I will leave this last week as a buffer, in case I am demanded more time than expected at that work, or something happens to delay the planned releases. If all goes to plan there might be something new published here, but this is my buffer week 🙂
